Train and learn
Most of your time on center will be devoted to your training and education. If you have not graduated from high school, you will have the chance to earn your high school diploma or GED.
Not all your time will be spent on center. You will have the chance to train with Job Corps employer partners on actual work sites.. Job Corps has employer partners in every corner of the country who are looking for qualified students to train and possibly hire.
After Job Corps
When your training at Job Corps is complete, Job Corps will work with you for up to 18 months after you graduate. After you start training, it won't be long until you are working on finding a job. You will work with Job Corps staff to help find job openings and submit resumes.
Don't have a resume? Don't worry, Job Corps staff will help you prepare one. It's all part of making sure that you are prepared for a lifetime of success. Job Corps understands that being independent involves more than just having a job. We'll help you find housing, day care, community resources or just find a ride to work.
